Integrated Warning Systems

We offer our customers both turnkey warning systems and the components used to update an existing installation. Our AlertNET servers and controllers can be used to create a new Common Alerting Protocol-based warning and notification system, or to retrofit a system already installed.

 

Hormann America was the first company to build a statewide warning network based on the Common Alerting Protocol. We also built the award-winning Contra Costa County Community Warning System, an integrated system that includes warning sirens, email, outbound telephone dialing, the Emergency Alert System, and other warning devices.

 

These next-generation warning systems were built and continued to be expanded using Hormann America's AlertNET servers and controllers. Broadcasters and government emergency managers have begun using our CAP EAS Equipment, ahead of an FCC mandate which, when effective, will require EAS participants to be able to receive EAS activations sent in the CAP format.
